IRT reports record number of EU students

In 2007 the Institute of Infrared Thermography has continued to attract participants from across the EU and other European countries to attend a range of different courses. The main reason IRT has once again increased the number of students is the high standard of the courses on offer and IRT's reputation as a world leader in thermographic education. Students from Sweden, Belgium, Holland, Portugal, Greece, and Spain to name just a few have all attended UK based courses this year. Although IRT offers courses across the continent and in various different languages the draw of the UK based training remains high. The Institute offers a full service that can include booking hotels and airport transfers as well as arranging transport to the course locations. The extensive training manual is also available in many different languages as is the support that IRT offers after a course is completed. The Institute of Infrared Thermography carries out education and training events all over the world and if reaching our training course is not logistically possible then consider the possibility of on-site training at your own facility as IRT conducts on-site training throughout Europe. The flexible nature of the organisation is allowing participants to continually receive the highest standards of training available and this is encouraging courses to become ever more multicultural.

Multiculturalism is a definite benefit to the IRT programme as it allows different ideas and concepts to be shared by thermographers from different backgrounds. The range of applications that thermography can be applied to is also constantly increasing and this adds a fresh dimension to training courses as thermographers will discuss their relevant background and how they conduct investigations based around this. Electrical, mechanical, building, equine, medical and many other different applications require thermographers to apply knowledge in different ways. Recent courses have presented thermographers that wished to use the technology to study the brain and different areas of thought; others have brought investigations into why glass fracture measurements vary with certain frequency cameras and numerous other interesting topics that assist IRT training to create a positive learning experience.
